Bradley Classic Furniture is produced using the highest quality materials, properly cared for it will develop its own unique character and last for many years. When using decorative or exotic veneers it is almost certain that some veneer movement will occur. Cross-bandings are also prone to movement Such movement, providing it is slight, should be seen as part of the overall ambience of our furniture. When looking at original pieces, such as antiques of the period, such movements can be clearly seen and are considered to be an enhancement to the overall appearance of the piece of furniture.
- Wipe off spilt liquids without delay.
- Give your furniture an occasional application of any good quality non silicone wax. (Once a year should be enough).
- When cleaning glass panels, use a damp cloth or leather, do not use substances containing an abrasive.
- Vacuum clean seat pads regularly, remove stains with a recognised household dry cleaner.
- Occasionally apply a little 'candle wax' to moving parts such as drawers, table runners, catches, etc, this will ensure continued smooth operation.
- Do not place hot dishes or wet cups, etc, directly on polished surfaces, we recommend that you use table mats or coasters to protect polished tops.
- Do not position Bradley Furniture in permanent direct sunlight. This will cause timber movement and possible discolouration.
- Do not stand your furniture close to radiators or other heat sources.
- Do not store any pieces in damp or cold conditions.
- We recommend that you do not effect any major repairs yourself. Contact your local Bradley stockist if the need arises.
- Bradley Furniture is available throughout the UK from established quality retailers who are in a position to offer expertise and help with Bradley products.
